What’s a “Z(ed) drop?”

Thankfully, a “Z(ed) drop” is not of the “cow patty” variety dropped on a page. A “Z(ed) drop” is a small nugget of information that Z(ed) interjects whimsically onto a page because he believes it is something you should know.

Our Patient Portals

Which portal do I need?

For any need regarding your Direct Primary Care membership plan, you want the Membership Portal. Otherwise, you want the Patient Portal.

Pursuing Health

Services that support our goal of putting the “health” back into healthcare.

Every child has his or her own unique health story. Our principles of educate, equip, and empower drive us to know that story, so we can help your child live his or her fullest life. Our holistic, functional medicine approach to primary care has us not just looking for a quick script to mask a symptom, but for the root cause of your child’s symptom. Your child’s body has an awesome, innate ability to heal itself, and our mission is to enable your child’s body to do just that: to heal itself naturally.

Primary Care

Your child is unique. Your child’s primary care should be just as unique.

Our passion is to see all of our kiddos live their healthiest life by not participating in our nation’s “sick”-care system. The result of our consult work is having a big heart for kiddos in distress: those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), PANS/PANDAS, chronic allergies, or chronic inflammation. All knowledge and experience gleaned from working intensively with our consult patients, we feed back into our primary care methodologies so as not to do the things that risk putting your child in distress, as we aim to break the “sick”-care cycle.

We are vaccine friendly, aka we respect parental rights.

Know this: you will not be ejected for making an informed decision for your family’s health to not fully vaccinate. Hospital-controlled practices toss you out not because you are a medical threat, but because you are a financial threat. In order to receive third-party payors’ lucrative incentive bonuses, these practices must maintain a high percentage of their patient population fully vaxxed. Allowing you the freedom to choose threatens that statistic. Our financial stability doesn’t rely on chasing perverse payor incentives, so we remain free to let parents make informed decisions regarding their family’s health and well-being.

So, with fully informed consent, we administer vaccines in the safest way possible: pre- and post-administration immune system support, spacing out administration visits, and using titer testing to avoid unnecessary boosters.

Consulting

Rescuing your child from the “sick”-care system.

Our core values of educate, equip, and empower find full fruition in our consultative services: in-depth mentoring for overcoming your child’s chronic health issue(s). These services dive deep into your child’s health story, discovering answers to the big “Why?” questions that seek reasons for your child experiencing a chronic issue. Informed by these answers, we implement treatment, diet, and lifestyle changes that should not only improve your child’s overall health but lead to a more normal life for your child and your entire family.

Our consultative services are for children experiencing:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other complex neurodevelopmental disorders
PANS/PANDAS
Lyme and other co-infections
Other chronic illnesses, including severe allergies and inflammation
How do I become a consultative patient?

Step 1: Enroll in membership
Submit a consult membership enrollment with our Preliminary Questionnaire for the prospective consultative pediatric patient.

Step 2: Wait for approval
Wait on our provider’s review of the completed questionnaire to make—at the provider’s discretion—a determination if we are a good fit for your child’s need(s). For a positive determination, proceed to Step 3. Otherwise, we’ll refer you, if possible, to providers that are better suited to your need(s).

Step 3: Provide your child’s medical history
Activate your membership, complete our detailed Historical Questionnaire for your child, and provide for the receipt of your child’s medical records..

Hyperbaric Therapy

Driving inflammation out.

Inflammation is an integral finding in many medical conditions and coincides with nearly all types of injury and insult to the body. Many studies have demonstrated hyperbaric oxygen therapy’s benefits in treating inflammation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Lyme disease.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurized environment, at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. Increased pressure allows oxygen to dissolve and saturate more effectively in the blood plasma, where it is able to reach deeper areas of the body where red blood cells—due to size—cannot, yielding a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical, and cellular effects. HBOT promotes the body’s innate ability to heal by safely and effectively increasing oxygen levels to all organs of the body.

Mild-Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

We provide mild-HBOT sessions using a Vitaeris320® soft-chamber from Oxyhealth. Mild-HBOT is a much simpler procedure that consists of entering a hyperbaric chamber and experiencing an increase in pressure to 1.3 atmospheres, or 4 PSI—the highest pressure approved by the FDA for private use that allows for an extremely safe increase in tissue oxygen levels. The physiological increase in oxygen provided by mild-HBOT is enough to help patients treat and prevent major long-term damages.

To get started with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, submit our Preliminary Questionnaire for a prospective HBOT patient, and after review by our provider, we will schedule your initial HBOT evaluation with our provider to include a 20-minute test dive. The initial evaluation will determine if HBOT is an appropriate and tolerable treatment for you.

The fee for the initial evaluation is $55 (waived for Primary Care and Consult+Primary members).

Platelet Therapy

Unblock the body’s innate power to heal.

Personalized regenerative platelet therapy specifically calculated to your unique biology using TruDOSE™ Regenerative Technology.

The body’s adaptive healing system.

Platelets do more than help blood to clot. They help the body coordinate its response to injury by shifting the body from stress to recovery. Platelets are involved in every stage of healing: they sense stress, signal the immune system, regulate inflammation, rebuild circulation, and guide tissue repair.

The right dose. For the right person. At the right time.

Every patient’s biology is different, and that influences how the body heals. TruDOSE personalizes the platelet therapy based on where the body is in real time, meeting the body’s healing needs where it currently is and supporting healing from that point forward. TruDOSE is precision-driven, biologically personalized care unique to each unique patient.

Visit TruDOSE to learn more about this revolutionary therapy.

To get started with platelet therapy, submit our Preliminary Questionnaire for a prospective platelet therapy patient, and after review by our provider, we will schedule your initial evaluation with our provider. The initial evaluation will determine if platelet therapy is an appropriate treatment for you, and what pre-therapy steps are needed before starting.

Platelet Therapy Pricing*

$1,500/treatment

$600 non-refundable deposit due when scheduling treatment appointment

A typical course of therapy is 4-5 treatments

Phlebotomy

Skilled phlebotomy services for our most sensory patients.

Blood analysis is a crucial diagnostic tool in understanding a child’s health story. It’s our priority to provide in-house phlebotomy services using our own nurse phlebotomists, who are comfortable working with our young sensory patients. Knowing a blood draw is performed by a trusted phlebotomist reassures both us and our patient families.

Phlebotomy services are included in most of our Direct Primary Care plans. We send out to a wide variety of outside laboratories and offer deeply discounted cash pricing for most lab tests. Schedule permitting, our phlebotomy services are available to the broader community at select times.

Supplements

Supporting the body’s innate ability to heal.

With our nation’s ultra-processed, nutrient-deficient food supply, access to trusted supplements is crucial for good health. Boosting vitamins and key nutrients helps strengthen the systems that repair the body and helps the body rid itself of chemicals and toxins.

Pharmaceutical-grade supplements are available in the clinic and online from Fullscript and LymeCore Botanicals.
