Closed to New Patients

The past twelve months at Vibrant Kids have been all about resuming our growth—growth now at overflowing. We just completed the busiest month—in terms of total patient encounters—in our nine year history. As a result we must take the decision, one that we have seen coming for several months now, to press pause on accepting new patients. This decision is one that has not been made lightly, and we know it will not be popular.

Effective 1 July 2021, Vibrant Kids Pediatrics is closed to all new patients with the following exceptions:

1. A newborn or newly adopted sibling of an established, active patient;
2. A new consult patient;
3. A new patient enrolling in a Direct Primary Care membership plan;
4. A new patient for hyperbaric services only; and
5. A new patient for lab services only.

This is a difficult decision to make, but we cannot provide the level of service and care we strive to provide if we allow our patient panel to grow any larger. We continually monitor our patient loading, and will lift the “pause” when doing so will not compromise the work-life balance of our providers or the quality of our patient care. We thank you for your understanding.
